The wait is over, MaJoVTA Members. We have officially reached our “World Series” moment: the Annual Recital.
This week, we shift our focus from the discipline of training to the thrill of Peak Performance. This is the moment where we stop “working” on our voices and start “using” them to tell a story.
Peak performance is a unique state of mind. In our weekly lessons, we are often in “fix-it” mode—analyzing, adjusting, and perfecting. But on the recital stage, we shift into a “flow state.”
The magic of this shift is that it’s only possible because of the consistency we’ve maintained all year. You can only reach the peak because you’ve built a mountain of preparation underneath you.

Consider a gymnast in the Olympics. On the day of the final, they aren’t thinking about how to point their toes; their body already knows how to do that. Because they were consistent in the gym, their mind is free to focus on the grace and soul of the movement.
For us, peak performance is the celebratory expression of your year of hard work. It is the moment where your technique becomes the invisible support for your artistry.
The Wrap
We’ve spent the last year honoring the process, building your strength, and refining your craft as vocal athletes. You’ve put in the hours and stayed the course through every challenge. Now, the foundation is solid, the training is complete, and the stage is waiting. You are more than ready to step up and step into your Peak Performance Moment.
Let’s do this!
